Week 10 Assignment#2 Teaching Philosophy & Technology

    My philosophy on teaching and the role of technology integration begins with teaching students how to think and not what to think. My teaching philosophy is based on Reconstructionist Critical Theory, a philosophy that emphasizes the addressing of social questions and a quest to create a better society and worldwide democracy. Teaching and learning are motivated by cognitive reception to what and how it is learned. To that end, students attained knowledge by examining context through social influences that motivate their critical thinking habits. I believe that providing a learning environment should stimulate learning and ensure academic achievement for all students. Technology does that! All children learn differently, and I want to always maximize each students’ potential to become successful learners.
